GAUTENG DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AWARDS 2011

The Gauteng Department of Education’s Johannesburg South District 11, of which our school forms part, honoured the top 2011 matriculants in the District at a function which was held at Zakariyya Park recently.

Yahyaa Moti was honoured as the top learner when it was announced that he had achieved the highest aggregate in the District. Not to be outdone, Ahmed Mohamed Nanabhay obtained the 4th highest aggregate, Safoora Bhamjee was placed 6th and Haseenah Rasool was placed 15th in the District. Shaakira  Mayet was awarded a prize for having obtained the highest mark in Geography.

We congratulate all our 2011 matriculants and wish them well in their future studies.

Certificates awarded by Gauteng Department of Education to Learners

The Gauteng Department of Education honoured the following learners for outstanding results in the Matric 2010 examination. The awards ceremony was held on Friday 4 February 2011. Each learner received a trophy, certificate, cash prize, a laptop computer and a fully sponsored computer course
